I've been very busy the last two weeks or so and I'm finally down to my very last two commissions. I've been getting a lot of questions about reopening for more work, prices, etc. There are a few things I'd like to talk about concerning commission work.
I will not be taking any more than 2-3 slots at one time. This is to be sure that I will not become overwhelmed with work. This will also allow me to make and ship commissions quickly and effectively. I will be taking work very often unlike most plush makers (as this is my full time job). I will still require payment up front like before, however in order to insure that you get your order quickly, I will be giving anyone who orders a time frame in which they can expect to receive their order. For example, if you order a Pinkie Pie plush and I tell you I will have it ready in two weeks, I'm going to do just that. Last time, I wasn't able to give an exact estimate, took way too many orders at once, and became very overwhelmed with work all at once. This also happened to me during a time when my parents got divorced, I ended up moving, and was not able to work for months at a time. I will not longer allow anything to take priority over my work, so rest assured unless an order is very large and complicated, nothing will be exceeding 3-4 weeks. If at any time work does become delayed, I will give you notice ahead of time before payment.
Now let's talk plushies! For a while once I first reopen, I will only be taking commissions for My Little Pony in the lying down style:
For plushies made in this style using fleece, the prices will range from about $80-$100 or higher depending on which pony you want and the complexity of their design. If you would like your plush to be made using minky fabric, the prices will be more expensive. I don't have a quote for each canon character, I can just give a ball park price range for now. Once I reopen for commission, I will most likely have a set price for each character.
I can make more than just ponies believe it or not! At some point once I get back up and running, I will be able to take commissions for just about any plush; if I can make a pattern, I can make a plush out of it! That won't be until a little later on, possibly beginning of next year. For now, I'm only focusing on my pony patterns.
If you have any further questions about commission work in the near future, just send me a message and I'll answer to the best of my ability! Thank you all for following up with me and being so patient while I get things back in gear!
